Opening times and dates
Our Playgroup is open from Monday - Thursday: 8:55am – 12:20pm and Friday: 8:55am – 11:35am. Our Playgroup runs during the Edinburgh Council school term times, as listed here. We are closed outside of these times.
Three morning minimum
Children must be enrolled for a minimum of three mornings per week at Holy Corner. This ensures that they settle into Playgroup more quickly and form strong bonds with their practitioners and the other children.
Fees and funding
From August 2025 our fees are £26.88 per session Monday to Thursday and £21.28 for Friday. This fee includes a healthy, vegetarian snack, which the children often help to prepare.
Parents with multiple children the same age (twins, triplets etc), are eligible for 10% off the above fees for the second child / subsequent children.
We are a Partner Provider for the City of Edinburgh Council. This means that fees for Playgroup will be covered by government funding from the term after your child’s third birthday, or from two if you receive Terrific Twos funding.
We accept childcare vouchers from many of the major providers and are part of the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.

We also encourage you to book a visit and see what playgroup life is like. To arrange this, please call the Playgroup on 07519 123 815 between 9am and 12 noon (Monday to Friday, term-time only) and one of our practitioners will help you.
If you choose to enrol your child and add them to our waiting list, we will charge a non-refundable fee of £25 to secure their place.
